We’re Hiring: Director of Development

The Bay Area Chorus Board of Directors has recently voted to create a NEW part-time, contract position to augment the current staff. The new Director of Development position will lead in securing vital monetary donations and gifts to ensure BAC’s continued success.

The Director of Development will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing annual fundraising goals and plans for BAC

  • Maintaining relationships with existing donors

  • Creating new financial support from individuals, corporations, and organizations

  • Researching potential sources of funding through grants

  • Assisting the BAC Business Manager in preparing grant applications

  • Leading the volunteer BAC Fundraising Committee

    Skills needed:

  • Proven experience with gift or donor fundraising

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills

  • Nonprofit fundraising experience highly preferred

  • College degree preferred, but not required

    Compensation:

  • $5,000 annual salary, with opportunities for bonuses
