Experience the drama and excitement of the operatic stage when the Clear Lake Symphony and the Bay Area Chorus join forces. Hear classic opera choruses by Verdi, Mozart, Bizet and Bernstein. Enjoy the familiar strains of the “Anvil Chorus” from Il Trovatore, “March of the Toreadors” from Carmen and “Make Our Garden Grow” from Candide.

Illumination: intellectual or spiritual enlightenment.

Explore the rich heritage of Scandinavian and Baltic choral music in the Bay Area Chorus presentation of “Northern Lights”. In fulfillment of their mission to enrich the Houston area through the powerfully expressive eloquence of choral music, the BAC season finale also will feature high school, church and university ensembles performing a varied repertoire.
